Yes, it does heat your room
The Sideline Elite® Electric Fireplace stands out for its unique heating abilities. It can be recessed into the wall, and the vent in the front of the unit provides heat. With two heat settings, the Sideline Elite can quickly add warmth to a room up to 400 sq. ft.
Keep in mind that this heater is not meant to be the primary source of heat in your room or home. Instead, it's designed to take the chill out of the air on a cool evening or raise the temperature of a room by a few degrees. In combination with your home's primary heating source, the visual appeal and warmth of your electric fireplace will create a cozy and calming atmosphere.
You can control the heat settings using the remote or the controls on the front of the unit, and the Sideline Elite also comes with a built-in heat timer for additional control.
Mounting and Use
The versatile Sideline Elite® Electric Fireplace offers two installation options. Although it is essentially designed for insertion in your wall, it can also be mounted on your wall. Instructions for mounting and install come with the fireplace, and we recommend you follow the simple instructions provided. We recommend placing your Sideline Elite 50 at least 8” below your ceiling or 8” below your mounted flat screen TV because of its heating feature.
